How do you play Fruit Mahjong?

The board is covered with tiles showing repeated fruit pictures. You need to find two matching tiles and draw a line between them that doesn't pass over any other tile; that line can be straight, have one turn, or at most two changes of direction. When the connection is valid, both fruits disappear and leave a free space on the board.

Look at the board and find two tiles with the same fruit.
Click the first tile and then the matching second one.
If the path between the two is valid (a maximum of two turns and no obstacles), they disappear.
Repeat until you clear all the fruits from the board.

As the board empties, the remaining tiles end up closer together, so it's worth checking the whole grid from time to time in case new connections appear that weren't possible before.

Tips for playing better: Fruit Mahjong

Always start with the fruits at the edges of the board: they usually have fewer surrounding tiles to block the line.
Before connecting, visually check that there's no tile in the way along the path, not even at the corners of the turn.
If you run out of clear moves, check the middle rows, where the last pairs tend to pile up.
Clear the fruits that repeat several times on the board first, before the ones that only appear as a single pair.
