About the Game
Super Mario Land is a Nintendo classic, originally released in 1989 for the Game Boy. This game is one of the most iconic titles in the Mario franchise, notable for bringing the famous plumber's adventures to a portable format for the first time. Unlike other Mario games of the time, Super Mario Land introduced a number of novelties, including exotic settings, unique enemies, and levels with side-scrolling mechanics, in addition to gameplay sequences reminiscent of shoot 'em ups. This game is an adventure in which Mario must rescue Princess Daisy instead of the usual Princess Peach, adding a fresh twist to the plot.

In Super Mario Land, players control Mario through 12 levels spread across four different worlds. The main objective is to progress through the levels, jump on enemies to defeat them, collect coins and power-ups, and finally defeat the boss of each world to advance. Along the way, players will find power-up blocks that may contain coins, Super Mushrooms that increase Mario's size, or Fire Flowers that allow him to throw fireballs. Additionally, there are special stages where Mario pilots a submarine or an airplane, shooting enemies in auto-scrolling levels, which adds variety to the game.
